Does anybody know the differences between 'bed partner' and 'bedmate'?
I cannot find the word 'bedmate' form my dictionary.So I just could imagine those word to guess the meaning of 'bedmate'.They're 'classmate,roommate,churchmate...' .Anybody here can help? I'm still confusing. Thanks for your time!

I don't hear this word or expression often, but like you said it's similar with partner. I checked it from one of my sources and words like ladylove, kept woman, other woman, etc came which means mistress. But, it can also mean your partner in bed which can be your brother, sister, spouse, etc.
I think it's better to use roommate, sounds much better.
