" un pájaro entre mano es mejor que diez pájaros en el arbol "
this is an arabic quote it says " one bird in hand is better than ten birds on the tree " , do i have any mistakes in my trasilating to Spanish?

En Venezuela decimos:
Más vale pájaro en mano que ciento (o cien) volando significa que más vale tener poco pero que sea tuyo, que lo tengas seguro.

Pajaro en la mano mejor que diez en el arbol What you said was a bird between the hand(s) is better than 10 in the tree.
I wrote Bird in the hand is better than 10 in the tree. I would have understood either.
