which is right? $10 dollars' worth of gas or $10 dollars worth of gas (without apostrofe)
$10 dollars' worth of gas or
$10 dollars worth of gas or
$10 dollars of gas.
when you go to buy gas for your car, which must I use?
Hi Diego
Neither is correct, because if you say "$10 dollars worth" out loud, it is "ten dollars dollars worth", regardless of whether or not you use the apostrophe.
I believe it should be either "$10's worth of gas" or "10 dollars' worth of gas".
