What is the meaning of "he must have had on some really nice pants"?
The interviewer:"what would you say if a man walked in here with no shirt, and I hired him?"
Chris Gardner: "He must have had on some really nice pants."
The line is taken from the movie called "The pursuit of happyness".

Hi,
It means the man was probably wearing really nice pants since he got hired even though he was actually half-naked! I haven't watched the movie, but it seems the interviewer was somehow shocked by Chris Gardner's attitude or appearance and gave him a sort of sarcastic example. Hope this helps a bit, cheers!
