Are intention and tendency interchangeable?
Can you please tell me the main difference between these two words and give me some examples sentences for these two words? Thank you !

Intention is what you are planning to do.
Tendency is what you normally do.
Intention
It is my intention to run a marathon in January.
They intend to eat at an Italian restaurant this evening.
Tendency
He has a tendency to forget names.
I tend to eat a late lunch when I am busy.
