Trailing email
Hi,
Can someone please help me with the correct usage of the phrase TRAILING EMAIL? For example, is it used correctly in following sentence? What else can I use instead?
Please respond to the point made by the customer in the TRAILING EMAIL.
Thank you.

Hi Pedram,
Normally we would say "following email". Most things that we refer to that come after something are called "following" rather than "trailing":
"Please respond to the point made by the customer in the following email."
Hope that helps!
