Difference See the answers as given at end of this book. See the answers given at end of this book.
1.what are the Difference between
'See the answers as given at end of this book. ' and
'See the answers given at end of this book.'?
2.Do they have the same meaning?
3.why does the first one add an 'as' in the sentence?
4.Is 'as' here a conjunctive?
'as given' is wrong in this case, but the sentence is similar to 'see the answers as explained at the back' -
that would be ok because 'as' = 'in a certain way'. The different in nuance is small so I think it's just a kind of mix of those.
