Nice tea-making facilities.
I recently stayed at an Ibis Hotel in Berlin which was identical in almost every respect to the Ibis hotel rooms that I've stayed in in Britain. The same decor, the same furniture, the same bedlinen, towels, soap, even the same irritatingly cheery notices about saving trees. But with one key difference.
In British hotels there is always a kettle, cups and a selection of tea bags, sugar, coffee sachets and milk to welcome you. If you're lucky, there'll even be some tasty fruit teas and even a packet of biscuits or two to cheer you up. But in the German version, there was nothing. Nothing at all! Nichts! Nada! Zilch. How disappointing,
