Respected means that a person or thing receives respect from others.
"He was a respected scientist"
Respectable means that a person or thing qualifies to receive respect from others.
"He was a very respectable citizen, he never broke the law"
Respectful means that a person gives [or shows] respect for others.
"He was always respectful to his mother, always talking kindly to her"
