The food was excellent and good value for money, too. Hello! This is an FCE question. Complete the second sentence so that it has a similar meaning to the first sentence, using the word given. Do not change the word given. You must use between two and five words, including the word given. The food was excellent and good value for money, too. ONLY Not ________________________________, it was good value for money, too. My try: Not only was the food excellent, it was good value for money, too. Is it correct? What's wrong, why? Thank you!

It looks fine to me. If you write 'only was the food excellent' in the gap, it makes five words and a perfect paraphrase. I can't see a problem with that answer.
