Qual a maneira mais próxima e clara de perguntar "Você conseguiu....?" em inglês? Por exemplo: Você conseguiu ouvir? "Did you hear?" ou "you could hear?"... não têm exatamente o mesmo significado que a frase em português, ou podem ter?

Normally, to translate “conseguiu?”, we would say “did you manage to X?” “Could” could be used, but would be ambiguous as to aspect (perfect or imperfect) and mood (indicative, subjunctive, conditional). With the verb “to hear”, I’m not really sure what context that would apply in — we often say simply “have you heard?” (Você sabia?) In American English, we often use the simple past “did you hear?”
