Chinese eat at home, just almost the same as(or similar to) in restaurant. 
I think "dahia" might be "dajia",这里的意思应该是不把菜不分开吃(zheli de yisi yinggai shi bu ba cai fenkai chi) 而在西方一般是自己吃自己的菜(er zai xifang yiban shi ziji chi ziji de cai) all dishes together(not separate) in china, I think this is the difference between chinese and western 

"Xifang-ren zai fanguan ziji chi ziji de cai. Zai jia chi fan de shihou, butong de cai xian fang zai ziji de pan li, ranhou cai chi." 

Westerner eat their own food(separate, order dishes themselves) in restaurant. When they have meals at home, put different dishes in own plates before they eat it.
