Tense question Good day all. I want to confirm how to use tense in a sentence (dependent and independent clause)some say the tenses should be balanced in both main and subordinate clauses. Eg he said that he would tell me, I know he loves her, if I see him, I will tell him. But when I say he told me that the Earth rotates or he said that the sun sets. What is the best way to use the tense in the sentence which has more than one verb?
