Recoil IN horror or WITH horror? Exactly as in the title. If you rapidly move, flinch at the sight of something for example - can you also say that you "recoiled WITH horror"? I think you can say "recoil in horror", but I was wondering about with.

I'd actually say I recoiled from horror sometimes. None of these are wrong, they just all come with different imagery. That's the beauty of language. Say in, though, until you know the difference without having to ask.
