How are you different from your grandparents? I am curious about the differences between the younger generation and the older generation. Are there any? 祖父母世代は若い世代に似ていますか。(日本語が下手で本当にすみません!)

My generation is called "昭和世代", because most older people were born in Showa era(1926 to 1989). I think there are some generation gaps in Japan, but it depends on each person. Some older people often say things when they were young and don't check new things, but I usually don't say things when I was young, I like to check new things, mostly animation, movies, dramas, music, and etc. Japanese life-span is expanding. At least, my Japanese friends look younger than our actual age. And, I have younger Japanese Karaoke friends. Some people say that relationships between younger people and older people is difficult, but I want to be a younger people's friend.
