Doll up dolled up Which is correct?

Today I try to I doll up.

Today I try to get dolled up.

Today I try to be dolled up.

And can I say I am dolling up?

1. "Today I am trying to get dolled up." 2. "I am getting dolled up" or "i am dolled up." Examples: 1. she is going to get dolled up on saturday for her date. 2. look at her, she is all dolled up for her date.

"dolled up" has a negative connotation. It's not something I would say about myself. It is something I might say about someone I didn't like very much.

Hi SoHyun, The second one is correct ("Today, I tried to get dolled up"), however; I would suggest saying, "Today, I tried to get all dolled up."
