Hi, in “America“, does “the House” mean the House of Representatives? Or does it include the senators as well as the house of representatives? (so all the congressmen and women?)

Hi, the "the House" refers to the House of Representatives. Whereas "the Senate" refers to just the senators. When we're talking about the House of Representatives and the Senate as a whole we use Congress. Congress is composed of "the House" and "the Senate."
