what's the difference between "how's the food?" and" how do you like the food?
how's this room?
how do you like this room?
but : how's your head? and we can't say : how do you like the head?!! :))

“How’s the food?” is more general and less personal.
How’s the food at the new seafood restaurant?
Personally I don’t like seafood but people who do say it’s really good.

Honestly I think there is only a small difference.
I would say that for question
How's the food? Answer is good or bad etc
How do you like the food? Answer is: I like or I don't like.
