Discipleship Bands This is a concept that comes an Christian movement who were followers of John Wesley's teachings. They were small groups called "Discipleship Bands." How would this phrase translate into Spanish? I'm thinking "Bandas de Discípulos." Am I correct?

Hi, in Spanish "banda" can be used for a musical group or for a gang, and I'd say it has a negative connotation. On wikipedia they use "Bandas" but with a reference to a link that says "Grupos de Pacto Discipulado". I'd use "Grupos de discípulos" or "Grupos discipulares" or "Grupos de difusión discipular", unless they play music. http://iew-la.blogspot.com/2015/01/grupos-de-pacto-de-discipulado-como-se.html this seems the link that would have the correct translation. Best Regards.

This movement, if founded in the USA, would not have a direct translation because the majority of Spanish-speaking countries tend to follow the Roman Catholic faith. Your translation would probably be the closest you'll get.
