Can anyone please tell me what the meaning of that Romanian song "Dragostea din tei" is?
I remember when I was teenager and listened for the first time on the radio the Romanian song "Dragostea din tei" sung by O-Zone music band. At first, since I didn't have any knowledge in the speech, I thought it was Italian or something alike, but later then I came to know the Musicians were from Romania.
My question literally is: What does "Dragostea din tei" exactly mean?
Thank you Romanian mates :)

Hi, Gabriel, it literally means “the love from the lime trees”. It is basically a song about love. It doesn’t have very complex lyrics, and it’s mostly about her wanting to leave him, and he says that when he sees the lime trees they remind him of her eyes and their love.
