What exactly is a "templatised sentence"?
I just came across this phrase and even though I got some example I want to know the general definition.
Here are some examples I got which are labeled to be templatised sentence.
Which department store caters to the young generation?
What is your favourite day of the day?
What is your favourite animal?
Which do you like, tea or coffee?

To take a standard phrase and make a template out of it so the it is easily modified to fit the users needs.
I understand it is used in computer programming.
You need to quote the actual text where you found the word for a more specific answer.
