'-노라' is a special sentence ending form which declares something with a strong conviction and emotion. Nowadays it is only used in artistic expressions. Examples: - 왔노라, 보았노라, 이겼노라 = "We came, we saw, we conquered" (translation of a Latin phrase). - "가노라 삼각산아, 다시 보자 한강수야 ..." = I am leaving you, Mt. 삼각, and I'll see you again Hangang. (a 시조 from the 17th century)
