Hi, what's the difference?
What's the difference between 'have a drink' and 'take a drink' ('have a meal' and 'take a meal' , 'have coffee' and 'take coffee' etc.) And if they are interchangeable which is more common?

They can be interchangeable. I would say, in this context, have is more polite and common than take.

to take a drink = to have a drink ( to sip on a drink )
to take a meal is less commonly heard, at least in American English.
