What is the difference between "reclaiming land" and "cultivating land"?

reclaimed land usually means land where sea used to be. That is, material is usually brought form elsewhere, such as dredged from the seafloor and used to create dry land where water was.
.
To reclaim is general and means to get back, so the term might also be used for getting usable land back from chaos, or forest, or neglect.
.
To cultivate is to prepare and grow things there.
