still question about the noun phrase, are the noun phrases written by me correct? he often tantalizes me with a beautiful girl 's picture. if this sentence is changed into a noun phrase , I think it is : (1) his frequent tantalization of me with a beautiful girl's picture. is my guess correct? if the noun of the verb'tantalize' is not found , I would say such noun phrase as: (2). "his frequent tantalizing of me with a beautiful girl's picture", is that also right? another example, the king enters the palace.(sentence) I change it into a noun phrase as: (3) the king's entrance of the palace. is that right? to fear the dark →→ (noun phrase) : (4) fear of the dark. is that right? police criticize (him).(sentence) if the object 'him' of the verb "criticize" is neglected , its noun phrase is: (5) the ''the criticism of the police'', is that also right?

(1) his frequent tantalization of me with a beautiful girl's picture. (2) his frequent tantalizing of me with a beautiful girl's picture. Both are acceptable but the first one is more correct (easier to read): (3) the king's entrance of the palace. I would write "the king's entry into the palace" or "the king's entrance into the palace". (4) fear of the dark. Is correct. (5) the criticism of the police Is correct! Really good! 加油 :)
