What does tenure mean?
I check the word tenure in dictionary. I know the meaning in the phrase "Land tenure", "tenure of office". Actually I saw this word because I look up the materials about bicycle. And in the article they talk about the info of their customers and this word appears. So what does it mean?

Well it has many meanings, Land Tenure is how long you can own the land, Tenure of office, is how long you can stay in that position , for example, an incumbent(current) president can hold the office of presidency for 4 years at a time. Tenure can also mean , when a professor has been teaching at the same institution for past their probationary period, usually six years, once granted tenure, you'll get a promotion, an increase in salary with more benefits, and a secured teaching career.
