What is meet up /start off/star out? start out/start up? How to interpret those prepositions? Another question:what is “add a little rock “n” roll?” Is that a song? Thanks for your help.

To meet up= to meet another person to do something (a meetup is an informal meeting) "Let's meet up at 7pm" To start off: to begin by doing something, or to make something begin by doing something, "I started off my speech with a joke" To start out: If you start out by doing something, you do it at the beginning of an activity or a point in your life. "My dad started out as a salesman. He then became a manager." I hope this helps! Not sure about the song title, rock n roll is a common phrase!
