What does “ CNR” mean in the address ?
In this address “ CNR BEACONSFIELD AVE” , what does “ CNR” stand for ? Maybe “ CNR” is the abbreviation for the address ? But I’m not sure . Could you explain a bit to me ?
Thanks !

Bill's comment is supported by google searches. It returns things like
Cnr Beaconsfield Ave & Voortrekker Str Vereeniging
So, cnr is followed by two different street names, suggesting a corner.
This corner seems to have KFC, two sports stores, Ackermans.
The next corner down doesn't seem to be formed road, so probably not that one.
The road is long thew other direction, though :) Many corners.

I did a web search for "CNR BEACONSFIELD AVE", and I found links to websites that give addresses in Vereeniging, South Africa.
In all of the links on the first page of results, the address for a building is specified as "CNR [street name] AND [street name]".
I believe that CNR is a commonly-used abbreviation in South Africa for the word "corner", and the address specifies the intersection of two roads. I do not know whether this format for addresses is valid as a postal address in South Africa. However, it servers perfectly in advertising to inform local residents of the location of a business.
