Should I use "the" in front of 'page'?

Hello!
I agree - to say "on page 1" is correct. The reason that we don't need the determiner, "the" is because "the" is used to differentiate something or things from each other, but in a book, there is only one page 1 so we don't need to differentiate page 1 from any other page1 in the book.
