hi, I'm not a teacher but, maybe it would be effective if you treat your students as if your sons and daughters or better yet, create a family atmosphere within the classroom. it also essential to balance your time for teaching and playing (having fun). although despite of this, you should know where to draw the line - meaning, you don't have to be emphatic at all times. otherwise the students may always depend on your too much caring for them. :)

It is not clear to me exactly what you are asking. Are you referring to students caring more about each other's feelings?....about teachers caring more about their students' feelings and efforts in learning?

I'm not sure that empathic teaching applies to language courses. I could be wrong, but I think that comes into play more when teaching children in a general school curriculum.

Do you know what is empathy means? Definition: 1. understanding of another's feelings: the ability to identify with and understand somebody else's feelings or difficulties 2. attribution of feelings to an object: the transfer of somebody's own feelings and emotions to an object such as a painting.
