Is it essential to be greedy for that not worthwhile matter? A few years ago a matter was reported in China that a young man dug out a cannonball which is left inside the land that happened on war 50 years ago. Then he took it home and tried to disassemble the cannonball, but unfortunately it exploded caused the results was that the young man lost his life for ever, and there was a big hole on the floor. It is said that he wanted to use the metal shell to sell a little money .Is it very amusing? Do u think it is essential, why!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!But it is realistic! Is anybody to have other answers,as I know, the poor guy was not so poor.

It depends on someone's nature, and the thinking at some particular moment. Maybe the guy was curious about that, and he wanted to see something about it. Although greed is a curse, for sure.

well, there is an old joke in Russia (maybe similar in other countries) a monkey is sitting on the ground smashing frag grenade another one sees that and asks - what the hell are you doing? the first one answers - don't worry, I have another one the idea is that death is the only cure from being stupid ^__^

poor little guy..... I don't think it's greediness afterall. Perhaps the young guy was living very poor and that he saw an opportunity to make a little money out of that vintage bomb in order to combat hunger..... **sigh** It's hard to judge his act unless you witnessed how he wrestled among others just to obtain that bomb. Greediness sometimes involves either physical or mental hurting. :)
