It is hard to say there are something defferent between 我已经看过了 and 我已经看过……了. Here are some examples. 1. A: Have you seen this movie before? 你看过这部电影吗？ B: I have already seen it. 我已经看过了。/ 我已经看过这部电影了。 我已经看过了 is the omission of 我已经看过……了. 2. A: I bought two tickets of Iron Man. Let's go and see it! 我买了两张钢铁侠的票，我们一起去看吧！ B: I have already seen it. 我已经看过了。 A: You have already seen it? What a bad news!你已经看过这部电影了吗？这真是个坏消息！ The only problem is that the expression of 你已经看过了这部电影 or 我已经看过了这部电影 is not the common usage. The common usages are 我已经看过了 and 我已经看过……了. I use 部 instesd of 个.
