All of us say that their country is the best, but what do you know about other countries, for example, Russia?

If all of us thought so, there would be no migration)Every country has its advantages. RHCP sang "I know, I know for sure Life is wonderful around the world.." Russia has great history, great size, great culture, great writers such as my favorites Dostoevskij, Tolstoj, Chehov, Maiakovskij,Dovlatov etc, beautiful nature, talented artists and musicians, smart and intelligent people with sense of humour(not everyone, of course). On the other side there is a totalitarian regime, alcoholism, corruption and rather low level of life in mosr regions. But in general there are enough reasons to fall in love with Russia.

Well, I'm from Russia and I can't say that Russia is the best country in the World. Because is not true =) There are a lot of reasons and it's true. When you will live here you'll understand. I think Russia stay on 20 place after other more bester country in the World.

Lena has said almost everything. But I have a bit to add. I think russians have a special form to do everything. Like that simple example, where many countries were engaged to develop a pen which could be used to write in everywhere, in every situation, in all positions you could imagine – but they spent much money and time in that. Russians just used a pencil. A little example of geniuses. But it's not everything. What really attracts my attention, it's they are humble after all. True virtue.

To be more honest, it takes to say that modern Russia is a "monstrous" country. I've been living here for 21 years already and there weren't an one day my doubting in. The Russia territory is a very beautiful place - yeas that's true and I love it very very much. But our government is an "opposite side of this coin", there are bustards, corruptions, thieves e.t.c Yes, I love my country, but I hate my government! (don't forget that our government is a mirror-image of our people)
