What is "Otras veces" here? Hello, i m translating a text, could you please explain what does "otras veces" mean and why is it in plural form? Thank you! ...Los fines de seman, la gente suele reunirse con los amigos en una taberna o en un bar y comer en un ambiente informal y animado. Otras veces, cemanos en un restaurante con la familia o los amigos.....

Otras veces = other times. But in this context could mean: Other times/ other days / sometimes... Sometimes they go the the bar and sometimes they go to the restaurant with the family; it's in plural because this person is talking about his weekends... ^^

when you read "la gente suele reunirse" it means that usually, but not always (thus sometimes), people gather; and then if the text gives another option (the not so usual one) you say "other times..."

"La gente suele reunirse ...", the most of the times. "Otras veces ...", the situation is less repeated than "suele".
