¿Cómo se dice la frase inglesa "not only but also" en español? I know the words no, ni, tambien but I couldn't found a way to put together all of these. If I had any mistake in writing, I would appreciate any corrections. Thank you..

Hi there! Not only...but also = "no sólo...sino también" For example: "We visited not only Chicago but also New York" means "Nosotros no sólo visitamos Chicago sino también New York" in spanish. Regards:)

I would also say "no sólo...sino también". I would not say "no sólo...pero también" because negative constructions must take "sino" and not "pero".

thanks for your help. I understand it better now. Using this phrase in an example sentence made it easier to understand and saying why the other answer is wrong was also helpful.
