Different &special
what is the difference between these two words: different and special?
different is not the same.
i think special also has that meaning.
who can help me .i will be very appreciate

Most of the time when we use the word "special" in English it means "having a unique or superior quality," "Tonight I will fix you a special dinner for your birthday."

what the others said is correct, but i'll just add this, too...
Often when people say "special" it has a very positive connotation, unless they are using it sarcastically. "Different" is more neutral.

2.Distinct or separate
While special
1.Unique or specific to a person or thing or category
2.Surpassing what is common or usual or expected
