what's the difference between 'cakap' and 'bercakap'?
also, 'jumpa' and 'berjumpa'.
what's the meaning of prefix 'ber'?

just same like your previous question for cakap and bercakap. ''ber'' is added before the word to highlight an action is undergoing or is done. when we used ''ber'' referring to the action taken of the word its sound more formal.however if you prefer to speak it out without prefix of ''ber'' then its just OK but it might sound informal.

"cakap" is a root word and "bercakap" showing a verb is done just same like see and seeing.
