What's the different between Dziekuje and Dzieki ?

The difference is very much like between "thank you" and "thanks":
- "dziękuję" is universal and you can safely use it in any context;
- "dzięki" is informal and used in spoken language.

Dzieki - thanks, due to.
Dzieki bogu - thank god.
