Doofy
Someone how acts really goofy and does stupid, idiotic things.
You look at them and want to say DOH! and smack your forhead.

I'd never heard of "moofy" before, and "doofy" I would guess means dumb (as in dufus). Goofy - stupid in a comical way - is of course well known.
The problem is, just because a word "has a definition" (and people seem keen to make up any definition) it is no guarantee that the word is even commonly known.
