Офигеть - is a very informal Russian slang. It means "to go crazy" word-for-word.
It is an expressive form of the word "to be surprised"/"to be amazed".
For example: "Я офигел, когда увидел это" - I went crazy when saw this.
Also, the word "офигеть" means "too"/"very"/"really".
For example: "Мне весело было офигеть!" (I was really merry!).

it's assessment of the situation, like "very surprised" or "wow".
