faculty is what you would call everyone working in your place of employment but a colleague is a person that works closely with you in your area of working

Faculty includes everyone that works at a particular place. Ex: Everyone that works at Walmart or at a college.
Colleage - A colleage is someone you work with. They may work in the same department as you.
