How can I say "turn on the computer?"
I want to know the best way to say these kind of sentences:
"I turned on the computer."
"While the computer is on.."
I looked on a dictionary site but it gives me many different options, and I want to know which is the best one.

The shortest and easiest (but formal)way:
パソコンをつける/消す
turn on/off the PC
私はパソコンをつけた。
"I turned on the computer."
パソコンがついているとき・・・
"While the computer is on.."
#つく is intransitive. つける is transitive. So,
パソコンがつく。
and
私はパソコンをつける。
