Which is ok? After reading in the library, you shouldn’t take the book away/out.

It depends on what you're trying to say. I think what you mean here is that, books should not be removed from the library unless they are properly recorded (most libraries allow books to be loaned to members with a record of the loan - they are called lending libraries. The common term is 'check out' - Books should not be removed unless they are checked out.
