Hi guys 👋, I'm not sure if "barely" is used correctly in this sentence or not. Could I use "hardly" too? What would you use instead? "It rained in my city this morning. I don't understand why I barely get out of my bed whenever it rains." Thank you 😊

Perhaps you mean "I don't understand why I *can* hardly get out of my bed whenever it rains" (I would prefer to use "hardly", although "barely" would also work).
