Recently I watched an America movie - Star Wars with my boyfriend. He said Star Wars were serial films,so far it had 9.I watched the first one was The force awakens. the 7th of serial film. then I watched the 8th and the 9th.There are very wonderful movies. I decide to see the rest of the films.

i think you should say “series” instead of “serial”. you can also say film series or series which is easier. if you see the correction, it means the first one you watched was the 7th film. hope you enjoy~
