STORY PART 1 I could only hear snatches of the conversation: 'Someone, somewhere in the world is ready to spill the beans at the drop of a hat. I think we should do a blitz on this by identifying this person. It's blatantly obvious that this person is close to us. The future may be grim if we don't identify the guy who has ravaged our little business'. She explained 'Are you sure that setting your sights on catching him or her is not only clutching at straws?'. He replied. 'Our issues seem to be thrown in for good measure and now, to cap it all, you're rattling off your doubts about my leadership skills?'. She snapped. 'I didn't mean to presume, yet the idea I've advanced is not as insolent as you think. Our little business was doomed to fail from the outset. You shouldn't blame the smear campaign for that. Stop clinging on to the wreckage of our failed plan! Your frantic struggles will be useless. Besides, you are the one who has reeled off a litany of all the supercilious actions of the pal. I suggest you to forget about this guy and nail down a real decision. Remember! More haste, less speed'. He sighed and then he said 'I think I'm latching on that we've been defeated'. 'Well, snap out of it! We'll do things as I command. We will snatch the victory from the jaws of defeat!'

STORY PART 1 I could only hear bits and pieces (maybe some other word) of the conversation: 'Someone, somewhere in the world is ready to spill the beans at the drop of a hat. I think we should do a blitz on this by identifying this person. It's blatantly obvious that this person is close to us. The future may be grim if we don't identify the guy is who has ravaged our little business,’ she explained. 'Are you sure that setting your sights on catching him or her (we could also say “them” instead of him or her - even though it’s not grammatically correct, it’s common) isn’t just clutching at (usually “grasping at”) straws?' he replied. 'Our issues seem to be thrown in for good measure (didn’t totally understand what was meant here) and now, to cap it all off, you're rattling off your doubts about my leadership skills?' she snapped. 'I didn't mean to presume, yet the idea that I've advanced is not as insolent as you think. Our little business was doomed to fail from the outset. You shouldn't blame the smear campaign for that. Stop clinging on to the wreckage of our failed plan! Your frantic struggles will be useless. Besides, you are the one who has reeled off a litany of all the guy’s supercilious actions. I suggest you to forget about this guy and nail down a real decision. Remember! More haste, less speed'. He sighed and then he said 'I think I'm latching on (this is like “holding on” - I think you need a phrase like “realizing”) that we've been defeated'. 'Well, snap out of it! We'll do things as I command. We will snatch the victory from the jaws of defeat!'
Seriously awesome work! I don’t even know all these words, haha.

Ok...I couldn’t get through all of this. You’re obviously very advanced in your English, and for that you should be commended. But it’s like someone threw up a bunch of idioms and corny sayings onto a page. Sometimes less is more....oops, that was a corny saying 🤦🏻‍♂️
