It was 4:48am when I woke up in the twilight and looked silently through the window this morning. The dark shadow of the old jackfruit tree against the sky hazily. Raindrops beat out the rhythms on the tin roof. I lay there with a soft pillow beneath my head and my blanket was pulled up right to my neck. I could feel the cool air was blowing from my nose lightly and deeply. I like the placid mornings like that. By the way, observing the breaths is rather interesting and relaxing.

Hey there! Well done with your creative writing! Some lovely mental imagery. Creative writing is a bit tricky because it often involves creative license. This is the ability to bend English in ways that may or may not be grammatically correct, for creative or artistic effect. In simple terms: it’s difficult to “correct” because that may change or disrupt your style or art. So…my corrections can be seen as another way (or a suggestion), but not necessarily the only way. Hope that makes sense!
