Hi! I hope you're doing well. What's the difference between ex- and former? (I know ex- is a prefix and former is used for formal speech.) For example, I want to fill the blow blank place with the correct word and I have two options, ex and former. Which one should I pick? +I used to live next door, but I moved last week. - So you are a/an .................. neighbor, right?
