Can someone please tell me the meaning of 'above using' in the below sentence?
"A subversive, scathing look at a self-loathing management consultant from a top-tier firm. Marty, a highly successful, cutthroat consultant is never above using any means (or anyone) necessary to get his clients the information they want."

It means that Marty has no ethics and he is not "above" doing bad things to get what he wants. Doing bad things is OK with Marty, he isn't too good or too ethical and he will do bad things. You are having trouble with "above" which is one of the small common words. http://www.keys2words.info/ is a picture dictionary of the small common words.

The phrase is:
He is not above that.
That means he doesn't have the moral integrity to lift himself above lower standards. So it is his moral integrity that is or isn't above something. It's a phrase that refers to a lot of business practices.
