How do you say "I have to..." Like "I have to eat," or "I have to leave." and also when asked why you're doing something and you respond "I have to."

You use the -아/어/여 + -야 되다/하다 ending. So with 먹다 (to eat), you say 먹 + 어 + 야 + 하다 or 먹어야 해요. With 떠나다 (to leave), it would be 떠나야 해요.
